CLASS - Compassion Based Resilience Training
Compassion Based Resilience Training classes consist of 8 weekly virtual modules. Each session is 1 hour long, with an additional 30 minutes for Q&A or sharing. These are the titles of the 8 modules
1. Embracing Suffering with Body Mindfulness
2. Stopping Reactive Habits with Mindful Sensitivity
3. Breaking The Cycle of Stress with Mindful Awareness
4. Mindful Insight: The Lifelong Path of Self-Healing
5. Disarming Social Bias and Reactivity with Equal Empathy
6. Healing Reactive Emotions and Beliefs with Self-Compassion
7. Cultivating Prosocial Emotions with Wise Give and Take
8. Embodying a Resilient Self and Life with Caring Imagery
At this moment I am accepting requests to join the CBRT class starting Sunday June 4 2023 ending July 23 2023 at 6pm.

Retreat: Limber Habit Retreat: introduction to contemplative living and healing
Due to the impact of Covid 19, there are no scheduled retreats at this time. Feel free to email and you'll be added to the contact list. See below for a brief synopsis of a typical daylong retreat.
Who is this retreat for:
The retreat is for people who want to learn meditation and contemplation practices to develop awareness and balance. Prior meditation experience not required.
Objective:
By the end of the retreat participants will understand basic concepts for contemplation practice including attention, effort, concentration, grasping, avoidance and equanimity. Participants will learn to mobilize non judgmental awareness and recognize reactivity. Participants will also have an opportunity to apply new skills to relevant situations.
Silence: partial/20%
Group size: between 7-15
